 Specimen Japanese Satsuki Azalea Bonsai - 60 yearsThis is an abolutely stunning example of a Japanese Satsuki Azalea. Satsuki Azealas can display flowers of mixed colour and patterns on a single tree. They typically flower during May, June and into early July and are thus know as 'fifth moon' refering to the fifth month of the oriental lunar calendar.
Lloyd imported this bonsai from Japan over 20 years ago and has loved it ever since. He has worked on the refinement and structure - it has the most amazing nabayi and trunk taper and the branches are pefectly positioned to display the flowers to their best. This bonsai exhibits fresh white and pink flowers.
