The foliage has a beautiful shape and the new tips have hints of red/tan, giving it beautiful colour variations.
Its small purple summer fruits add a burst of colour and personality to the tree, and the red colours of the new spring shoots add lots of seasonal variety.
It has brilliant trunk shape and exposed roots, the superb nebari (root flare) adds lots of character to the tree, and ties the tree to the pot beautifully.
