The Chinese Elm (Ulmus parvifolia) is a bonsai favourite, with perfectly proportioned leaves, making this a great tree to give as a gift.
The wonderful trunk curves brilliantly, it also has lots of gnarly character and some exposed roots.
The branches are placed brilliantly and give the tree a very leafy appearance with the fabulously shaped foliage pads which are complimented by the textured silver bark.
