This hardy outdoor bonsai thrives in full sun and natural weather conditions, making it ideal for beginners. It is fully deciduous and will rest during winter, then burst into blossom in early spring with its signature pink-white flowers. Through summer, lush green leaves appear, followed by cherries and vibrant autumn colours. Even in winter dormancy, its architectural zigzag silhouette remains striking and beautiful.
A Festive Gift with Meaning
To give this cherry blossom Christmas tree a festive touch, we include a charming “Merry Christmas” wooden tag featuring a pretty robin design. You can also add an optional drip tray (medium size) to complete the display.
Cherry Blossom trees, or “Sakura,” symbolise renewal, hope, prosperity, and the beautiful fleeting nature of life. These deep cultural meanings make this bonsai a thoughtful and heartfelt Christmas gift.

Bonsai Variety
Prunus Incisa 'Kojo-no-mai' is a species of flowering plant in the family Rosacea. It is a very small Fuji Cherry tree with zig-zagging branches and an abundance of flowers. Just as winter ends in early March, the tree bursts into life with lots of white, delicate looking flowers with pink centres. The foliage is serrated, with new foliage having a bronzed tinge and taking on a bright orange colour in the autumn. A dainty slow-growing, early white-flowering cherry, in Japan it is highly regarded as an ornamental tree.
