Bonsai Mum Birthday Gift – Flowering Fukien Tea Tree Gift Set with Accessories

This beautiful bonsai mum birthday gift set offers a thoughtful and lasting way to celebrate her special day. Designed to feel generous, meaningful, and easy to enjoy, this complete kit centres around a flowering Fukien Tea Tree bonsai and includes everything needed to begin a rewarding bonsai journey. With elegant styling, practical tools, and heartfelt symbolism, it makes a far more personal alternative to traditional flowers.

A Beautiful Fukien Tea Tree Bonsai

The Fukien Tea Tree, Carmona microphylla, is a popular indoor bonsai species and a favourite choice when gifting a bonsai to mum. It features naturally small, glossy green leaves set against creamy, lightly textured bark. Moreover, its compact growth and fine branching create a refined, balanced appearance. During the summer months, this bonsai produces delicate white flowers, which add gentle seasonal interest and enhance its charm as a living gift.

Styling, Shape & Character

This eight-year-old bonsai displays a graceful S-shaped trunk with a classic Oriental flow. As a result, it feels artistic yet calm, making it well suited to indoor living spaces. Its evergreen nature ensures it remains attractive throughout the year, rather than being enjoyed for a single season. Additionally, its size makes it ideal for a windowsill, side table, or kitchen space where your mum can admire it daily.

What’s Included in This Bonsai Mum Gift Set

This thoughtful gift set includes the flowering Fukien Tea Tree bonsai planted in a ceramic pot, along with a humidity/drip tray for practical indoor display. To support easy care, the kit also includes pruning scissors, bonsai food, and a premium-quality duck-egg blue watering can. Furthermore, a Happy Birthday foil balloon adds a celebratory touch, while a special “Mum” wooden hanging tag provides a warm, personal finish.

Why This Bonsai Is Easy to Care For

Fukien Tea Tree bonsai adapt well to warm indoor environments and suit beginners with ease. Because of their steady growth habit and compact leaves, they respond well to simple routines. Place the bonsai in a bright room away from cold draughts and keep the soil gently moist. Apply the included diluted bonsai fertiliser weekly to encourage new growth and flowers.
