A beautiful Cherry Blossom (Prunus incisa ‘Kojo-no-mai’) outdoor bonsai tree – one of the loveliest Christmas plants to gift. This deciduous bonsai offers stunning spring blossoms, vibrant autumn colours and a striking winter silhouette. Presented in a navy-blue pot with a festive tag and free care guide.
Please Note: Cherry bonsai trees are deciduous, which means they naturally lose their leaves in autumn and remain bare during winter. This is completely normal and part of their seasonal cycle. Fresh flowers and new leaves will appear again in spring.

Description

Cherry Blossom (Prunus incisa ‘Kojo-no-mai’) Outdoor Bonsai Tree – A Beautiful Christmas Plants Gift

A Magical Outdoor Bonsai and One of the Most Stunning Christmas Plants Gifts

Surprise someone this year with one of the most beautiful Christmas plants gifts available – a charming Cherry Blossom bonsai tree. This hardy deciduous outdoor bonsai, known as Fuji Cherry or Prunus incisa ‘Kojo-no-mai’, brings elegance, colour and seasonal wonder to any garden. Presented in a navy-blue glazed ceramic pot, it makes a meaningful and memorable Christmas present for plant lovers of all ages.

Please note: This is a generic photograph. You will not receive this exact tree, but your Cherry Blossom bonsai will be very similar in shape, quality and overall appearance.

The Cherry Blossom bonsai is loved for its distinctive zigzag twig structure, giving it an architectural, artistic silhouette even during winter dormancy. In spring, it bursts into delicate white flowers washed with pink and deeper pink centres. Summer brings lush green foliage; autumn delivers fiery orange tones and pretty cherry-like fruits. This seasonal transformation makes it one of the most enchanting Christmas plants you can give.

Drip trays are not included with this bonsai, but a medium size tray can be added if required.

A Festive Cherry Blossom Bonsai Gift

Each Christmas bonsai includes:

  • Outdoor Prunus incisa ‘Kojo-no-mai’ Cherry Blossom bonsai

  • Mid-Navy-blue glazed ceramic bonsai pot

  • Charming “Merry Christmas” wooden tag

  • Printed bonsai care guide with clear instructions and variety information

Simple Outdoor Care for Cherry Blossom Bonsai Trees

  • Position: Outdoors in full sun or semi-shade

  • Watering: Keep soil slightly damp; never allow it to fully dry

  • Feeding: Apply bonsai fertiliser weekly during the growing season, to encourage blossom

  • Pruning: Trim after flowering and lightly in summer

  • Seasonality: Fully hardy; expect buds in Feb/March, blossom in early spring, fruits in autumn

This species is deciduous and will arrive without leaves or flowers over Christmas, just like other outdoor Christmas plants that rest during winter. Its beautiful zigzag branch structure remains visually striking during dormancy.

Delivery, Extras & Presentation

We offer free next working day delivery to most UK addresses, or you can choose your preferred delivery date for perfect Christmas timing. Add-ons such as gift wrap, balloons and personalised tags are available once the bonsai is in your basket.

Bonsai Variety

Prunus Incisa 'Kojo-no-mai' is a species of flowering plant in the family Rosacea. It is a very small Fuji Cherry tree with zig-zagging branches and an abundance of flowers. Just as winter ends in early March, the tree bursts into life with lots of white, delicate looking flowers with pink centres. The foliage is serrated, with new foliage having a bronzed tinge and taking on a bright orange colour in the autumn. A dainty slow-growing, early white-flowering cherry, in Japan it is highly regarded as an ornamental tree.
