A Charming Flowering Bonsai Full of Personality

Few indoor bonsai deliver the same artistic flair as the Fukien Tea Tree. Its naturally twisty trunk gives this bonsai a wonderfully expressive, oriental appearance. The creamy bark, rich glossy leaves and refined tree-like silhouette make it a standout piece for any windowsill, desk or cosy corner.

In summer, this species grows delicate star-like white flowers, tiny but perfectly formed. They sit beautifully against the glossy foliage. Every time a new bud appears, it feels like a little reward for careful growing — and that’s part of the joy of gifting a bonsai at Christmas.

The Carmona microphylla symbolises courage, heart, love and devotion. Many customers tell us they choose this bonsai because they want a gift that says more than “Merry Christmas” — they want a gift that speaks to someone’s resilience, kindness or new beginnings.
