Carmona microphylla – A Symbol of Love, Devotion, Kindness & Courage
A Meaningful Bonsai Gift with Lasting Presence
This 8-year-old flowering Fukien Tea Tree (Carmona microphylla) bonsai offers a refined and thoughtful gift, combining delicate natural beauty with deeper emotional meaning. Its small, glossy leaves and soft white flowers create a calm, elegant display, while its compact size makes it ideal for indoor spaces.
Grown and shaped in our family-run nursery in Devon, these bonsai have been carefully developed to achieve a balanced and natural form. Their flowering habit brings gentle seasonal interest, while the manageable structure makes them well suited to both beginners and those looking for a meaningful addition to their space. As each bonsai grows individually, slight variation in trunk shape and branching should be expected, giving every tree its own unique character.
A Bonsai with Deep Symbolism
The Fukien Tea Tree carries strong symbolic meaning, representing enduring love, devotion, heart and courage. It is often chosen for gifts where emotion and intention matter, offering something more personal and lasting than traditional presents.
Each tree includes a premium Bonsai Meanings card, featuring the following message:
Rooted in quiet warmth, the Fukien Tea Tree
reflects a deep and enduring love, one that
nurtures connection and strengthens the bonds
of devotion over time.
From the heart, it offers kindness in its
purest form, reminding us that growth is
often gentle, unfolding through care,
patience, and understanding.
Its delicate blossoms speak of courage —
the courage to open, to trust, and to begin
again, even after life’s quieter seasons.
In its living presence, it honours family,
new beginnings, and the beauty of love
that continues to grow.
This meaning card adds depth to the gift, creating a lasting connection between the tree and the sentiment behind it.
Optional Additions
This product includes the bonsai tree, as well as a Bonsai Meanings card to enhance the gifting experience and highlight the tree’s symbolism.
