This Cherry Blossom bonsai tree makes a thoughtful and lasting choice for Easter presents. The tree is grown from the hardy Prunus incisa ‘Kojo-no-mai’ variety and arrives planted in a navy blue ceramic bonsai pot with a wooden “Happy Easter” tag. In spring the bonsai produces delicate white and pink blossoms, followed by fresh green foliage and vibrant autumn colour later in the year. Because each bonsai is individually grown, slight variation in shape and branching should be expected. It is a hardy outdoor bonsai that thrives in gardens, patios, or sheltered balconies.

Easter Presents – Cherry Blossom Bonsai Tree Gift
A Beautiful Easter Present That Blooms Every Spring
If you are searching for thoughtful Easter presents, this Cherry Blossom bonsai tree offers a gift that lasts far beyond the holiday. Our growers carefully cultivate these trees so they develop the elegant zigzag branching that makes this variety so distinctive.
We present the bonsai in a classic navy blue glazed ceramic pot, which complements the delicate flowers and fresh green foliage.
Because each bonsai grows individually, natural variation should be expected in the trunk shape and branching. As a result, every Cherry Blossom bonsai has its own unique character.
Seasonal Beauty from the Cherry Blossom Bonsai
This Cherry Blossom bonsai (Prunus incisa ‘Kojo-no-mai’), often known as the Fuji Cherry or “Flight of the Butterfly” tree, is admired for its graceful structure and beautiful seasonal display.
In early spring, delicate blossoms appear across the branches. These flowers open in soft shades of white with gentle pink tones and deeper pink centres. As spring continues, fresh green leaves fill the canopy and bring vibrant life to the tree.
During autumn, the foliage turns bright shades of orange and red, and small ornamental cherry fruits may appear as the tree matures. Even in winter, the elegant zigzag branch structure remains visible, which keeps the bonsai full of character throughout the year.
What’s Included
This Easter bonsai gift includes a Cherry Blossom bonsai tree planted in a navy blue glazed ceramic bonsai pot and a wooden “Happy Easter” tag for a festive finishing touch.
We also include a printed care guide with simple instructions for watering, positioning, and seasonal care so the recipient can look after their bonsai with confidence.
Why a Cherry Blossom Bonsai Makes a Meaningful Easter Present
Easter often celebrates renewal, growth, and the arrival of spring. Because Cherry Blossom bonsai trees bloom at the start of the season, they naturally reflect these themes.
For this reason, a Cherry Blossom bonsai makes one of the most meaningful Easter presents. It offers lasting beauty while continuing to grow and develop year after year.
Why Buy from Bonsai Direct
At Bonsai Direct, our experienced growers carefully cultivate each bonsai to ensure healthy growth and natural character. Rather than mass-producing plants, we focus on well-developed trees with strong structure and long-term potential.
We carefully package every bonsai for safe delivery and provide clear care guidance so you can enjoy your tree with confidence.
Please note: We grow our cherry blossom bonsai trees outside and they are a deciduous bonsai species. They should be grown outdoors as they are fully hardy. They are early Spring flowerers, so you should see new buds in February/March. When out of leaf they still exhibit a lovely structure. From spring budding you get wondrous soft pink/white blossom, followed by lush lime green leaves. During autumn you get cherry fruits and spectacular autumn red and golden hues.

Bonsai Variety
Prunus Incisa 'Kojo-no-mai' is a species of flowering plant in the family Rosacea. It is a very small Fuji Cherry tree with zig-zagging branches and an abundance of flowers. Just as winter ends in early March, the tree bursts into life with lots of white, delicate looking flowers with pink centres. The foliage is serrated, with new foliage having a bronzed tinge and taking on a bright orange colour in the autumn. A dainty slow-growing, early white-flowering cherry, in Japan it is highly regarded as an ornamental tree.
