Description

Unique Father’s Day Gift – Sweet Plum Bonsai Tree

Searching for a unique Father’s Day gift that truly stands out? Our Sweet Plum bonsai is a meaningful and lasting present Dad can enjoy long after the day has passed. It offers something far more personal than traditional gifts — a living tree with character and presence.

Carefully grown and shaped on our nursery, this striking bonsai features fresh green foliage, textured flaky bark, and a naturally twisting trunk. As summer progresses, the leaves develop warm russet tones. Soon after, delicate purple plum-like fruits appear, adding even more seasonal charm and interest.

This special Father’s Day edition includes a cheerful “Happy Father’s Day” balloon. An optional drip tray is available to complete the display and protect surfaces. You can also personalise your gift with options such as gift wrap, engraved wooden tags, and a heartfelt message to create something truly memorable.

Please note: Each bonsai is individually grown and shaped, so the exact form, branching, and character of your tree may vary slightly from the images shown.

The Chinese Sweet Plum (Sageretia theezans) is a pretty indoor bonsai which has great character at an early age due to the flaky bark revealing tones of red/tan. The stunning foliage has hints of rusty red turning to glossy green. Small white flowers give rise to tiny plum-shaped fruits. A really pretty bonsai and great for beginners.
