Description

13.5-Inch (34.5cm) Japanese Blue Oval Bonsai Pot | Premium Shallow Landscape Design

A Top Quality Japanese Bonsai Pot for Refined Displays

Create a striking bonsai display with this premium Japanese blue oval bonsai pot. Measuring 34.5cm in length, this elegant shallow landscape pot combines classic Japanese styling with a rich blue glazed finish, making it an excellent choice for larger bonsai specimens and highly refined compositions.

The shallow profile emphasises the beauty of the tree above, allowing the trunk, nebari and branch structure to take centre stage. Meanwhile, the vibrant blue glaze provides a beautiful contrast against foliage, bark and seasonal colours.

Whether used for a mature specimen bonsai or a developing tree with excellent potential, this pot offers both visual impact and practical growing space.

Elegant Landscape Styling

Landscape bonsai pots create a feeling of stability and maturity while enhancing the proportions of the bonsai. The classic oval shape softens the composition and works beautifully with a wide range of species and bonsai styles.

The rich Japanese blue glaze catches the light beautifully and complements:

  • Chinese Elm Bonsai
  • Olive Bonsai
  • Japanese Maple Bonsai
  • Larch Bonsai
  • Flowering Bonsai Species
  • Deciduous Bonsai Trees
  • Informal Upright Bonsai
  • Broom Style Bonsai
  • Multi-Trunk Bonsai

As a result, this versatile pot suits both traditional and contemporary bonsai displays.

Premium Ceramic Construction

Crafted from high-quality ceramic, this bonsai pot offers durability, longevity and excellent presentation. The glazed finish helps protect the ceramic while maintaining its attractive appearance for years to come.

Its generous planting area provides ample room for healthy root development, while the shallow depth encourages the balanced root growth essential for successful bonsai cultivation.

Repotting Advice

Repotting helps maintain a healthy root system and prevents your bonsai from becoming root bound. Signs that repotting may be required include compacted soil, reduced vigour and roots emerging from drainage holes.

General repotting times:

  • Indoor bonsai: May to September
  • Outdoor deciduous bonsai: Early spring before bud break
  • Evergreen bonsai: Early spring

With the included accessories and guide, repotting becomes straightforward and rewarding.
