The Chinese Elm is fantastic for beginners.
Here we have the 12 year old Chinese Elm which is an indoor variety of bonsai tree. These trees have rich green, serrated edged leaves and beautiful trunks. The bark displays lovely texture and aged features. The Chinese Elm is highly sought after, especially for beginners, due to its easy care requirements and hardy nature. These particular trees display a literati-style which means they have no lower branches. This allows you to truly appreciate the craftmanship of the branch!
The Chinese Elm is also known as the Ulmus parvifolia bonsai. This variety symbolises inner strength, intuition, wisdom & love.
The bonsai comes potted in a navy blue ceramic pot. Please note, this tree does not come with a drip tray. If you would like to purchase one, the correct size is medium. Please click here for ceramic, and here for plastic.
We offer free next working day on all bonsai. Alternatively, you can choose your preferred delivery date at the checkout. You can add extras including gift wrap, balloons, and personalised hanging tags once you add the bonsai to the basket. You will also receive a care guide with tips, general variety information and symbolism with each bonsai.
