A beautiful Cherry Blossom (Prunus incisa ‘Kojo-no-mai’) starter bonsai — the perfect Christmas present for gardeners and beginners. This outdoor deciduous tree offers delicate spring flowers, lush summer foliage, fiery autumn colour, and a striking zigzag winter silhouette. Complete with scissors, feed, drip tray, balloon, and festive tag.
Please Note: Cherry bonsai trees are deciduous, which means they naturally lose their leaves in autumn and remain bare during winter. This is completely normal and part of their seasonal cycle. Fresh flowers and new leaves will appear again in spring.

Cherry Blossom (Prunus incisa ‘Kojo-no-mai’) Bonsai Tree Christmas Starter Kit – The Perfect Festive Cherry Blossom Gift

A Beautiful Dwarf Cherry Bonsai for a Christmas Gift with Meaning

Give a gift full of natural beauty and seasonal charm with this Cherry Blossom bonsai tree starter kit. This delightful outdoor bonsai—known as Fuji Cherry or Prunus incisa ‘Kojo-no-mai’—is loved for its striking zigzag branch structure and spectacular year-round variation. It makes a wonderful Christmas present for gardeners, first-time bonsai owners, and anyone who adores blossom trees.

Please note: This is a generic photograph. You will not receive this exact bonsai, but your Cherry Blossom bonsai tree will be very similar in style, quality, and appearance.

This starter tree offers plenty of potential for future styling. Its slender zigzag twigs create a charming silhouette even in winter dormancy, while the tree’s natural growth habit rewards pruning and shaping over time.

In spring, the Cherry Blossom bursts with delicate white flowers brushed with soft pink and deeper pink centres. Summer brings lush green leaves, autumn delivers fiery orange foliage and cherry-like fruits, and winter reveals its elegant structural branches. This bonsai brings four seasons of interest and beauty.

Bonsai Variety

Prunus Incisa 'Kojo-no-mai' is a species of flowering plant in the family Rosacea. It is a very small Fuji Cherry tree with zig-zagging branches and an abundance of flowers. Just as winter ends in early March, the tree bursts into life with lots of white, delicate looking flowers with pink centres. The foliage is serrated, with new foliage having a bronzed tinge and taking on a bright orange colour in the autumn. A dainty slow-growing, early white-flowering cherry, in Japan it is highly regarded as an ornamental tree.
