This 2 literati bonsai twin pack brings together two well-loved indoor species, offering great value and a perfect starting point for any bonsai collection. Each tree has been carefully grown and styled with an elegant S-shaped trunk, giving a natural and established look.
Natural beauty throughout the seasons
The Chinese Elm (Ulmus parvifolia) offers a classic bonsai appearance with fine twiggy branches and small green leaves that create a soft woodland feel all year round. Alongside it, the Fukien Tea Tree (Carmona microphylla) adds contrast with its glossy foliage and, during warmer months, delicate white flowers. Together, these 2 bonsai provide interest across the seasons while remaining easy to care for indoors.
What you will receive
You will receive 2 bonsai trees, each approximately established and shaped in a literati form – this means they have no lower branches. We present both bonsai in glazed ceramic pots and pair them with dark-coloured drip trays for practical use in the home. As these are living trees and not from a premium fixed range, expect slight variation from the photo, which makes each pair unique.

The Oriental Tea Tree (Carmona microphylla) is a simple & elegant bonsai ideal for growing indoors. This bonsai has pretty white flowers during summer months & lovely green, shiny & waxy foliage. The leaves are unusually shaped & well proportioned. The leaves grow in neat clusters allowing the flowers and branch structure to be highly visible. A highly appealing & artistic bonsai.
The Chinese Elm (Ulmus parviflolia) makes a truly beautiful bonsai with small bright green leaves. The tree has excellent twig structure and has great character throughout, making it the perfect representation of a woodland tree. In our opinion the Chinese Elm is the most perfectly proportioned, easy to care for and adaptable tree and makes a superb bonsai; which can be grown either indoors or outdoors.
