Take your first step into the world of bonsai with this premium Bonsai Tree Kit featuring a medium-sized 12-year-old Chinese Sweet Plum, Sageretia theezans. Carefully trained and matured, this established specimen offers immediate impact while remaining suitable for beginners.
Because the Sweet Plum adapts well to indoor growing conditions, it provides a rewarding experience from day one. Its larger size and developed structure give you the presence of a mature bonsai without the years of waiting.
Mature Character & Seasonal Interest
This 12-year-old Chinese Sweet Plum showcases a beautifully twisty trunk with textured, red-toned bark that deepens with age. Its refined branch structure supports vibrant green foliage, while new growth often emerges with subtle red and bronze hues.
During the growing season, small white flowers may appear, followed by delicate purple plum-like fruits. As a result, this bonsai delivers evolving seasonal interest and becomes a captivating centrepiece in any bright room.

Bonsai Variety
The Chinese Sweet Plum (Sageretia theezans) is a pretty indoor bonsai which has great character at an early age due to the flaky bark revealing tones of red/tan. The stunning foliage has hints of rusty red turning to glossy green. Small white flowers give rise to tiny plum-shaped fruits. A really pretty bonsai.
