About the Species — Carmona (Fukien Tea)

The Carmona microphylla has been cultivated for centuries as a symbol of patience, care, and quiet strength. Its textured bark, twisting trunk, and dense leaf canopy give it natural depth and artistic beauty. With evergreen foliage and gentle blossoms each summer, it brings living tranquillity to any space, whether displayed at home or in the office.

Care Essentials

• Light: Place in a warm, bright position indoors with access to natural daylight. Keep in a warm location and protect from cold draughts.

• Watering: Keep the soil slightly damp but never soggy. The blue ceramic tray will collect watering drips.

• Misting: Use Bonsai Direct mist weekly to support healthy foliage and natural leaf shine.

• Feeding: Apply the large 300 ml fertiliser as directed; its concentrated formula lasts up to three years.

• Pruning: Use the long‑handled scissors to maintain the shape and remove growth cleanly from within the canopy.

Full printed and illustrated guidance is provided in the care handbook.
