Absolutely Sensational Flowering Fukien Tea Tree Bonsai – A Living Ornament
This pretty flowering Fukien Tea Tree Bonsai displays timeless beauty and an abundance of character. The creamy textured trunk displays a literati-style which means there are no lower branches, allowing you to fully appreciate the shaping of the trunk. Even though there are no lower branches, the canopy is incredible! The branches are brilliantly placed with rich green foliage wrapping around them.
During summer months, small white flowers will float amongst the glossy green leaves. The deep tone of the leaves creates a beautiful background for the summer blossoms!
The Fukien Tea Tree (Carmona microphylla) bonsai symbolises courage, heart, love and devotion.
Your wonderful new bonsai comes potted in a metallic black ceramic pot, which is supplied with a matching drip tray, not only to protect your surfaces but also to maintain the humidity around the tree! Whilst on the subject of care, this bonsai is excellent for beginners as it is very easy to care for. This species thrives in a warm room (it doesn’t like to get cold), with a good amount of daylight, but make sure it doesn’t get exposed to direct sunlight, drafts or heat sources. The soil should be kept just damp at all times, this bonsai does not like wet soil, feed once a week and mist regularly. Pruning should be done as and when needed to keep the beautiful shape and encourage new growth!
