This bonsai has a sweeping trunk, with beautiful bright green foliage pads.
The characterful trunk leads up to captivating branches displaying beautifully shaped foliage pads.
As the Sweet Plum matures it produces small purple fruits and the new foliage is flecked with shades of red/tan.
Comes potted in an oval copper pot, with matching drip tray. The colouring of the pot highlights the green leaves beautifully.

The Chinese Sweet Plum (Sageretia theezans) is a pretty indoor bonsai which has great character at an early age due to the flaky bark revealing tones of red/tan. The stunning foliage has hints of rusty red turning to glossy green. Small white flowers give rise to tiny plum-shaped purple fruits. A really pretty bonsai and great for beginners. A very artistic bonsai variety and highly recommended by the experts.
