Exquisite Huge English Field Maple (Acer campestre) with Characteristic ‘Informal Upright’ Trunk and Incredible Exposed Roots. This is a mighty and impressive garden bonsai which is hardy and has a most magnificent stature. Towards the top there is a wondrous ‘Jin’ feature. It is an extremely artistic bonsai which is captivating, commanding and majestic in design. I have enjoyed this bonsai for over 25 years and it has been an incredible journey watching it change and develop throughout the years. It will be missed but hopefully enjoyed by its new owner.

This bonsai has immense character and structure. The start of the trunk (the Nebari) has wonderful power and detailing, evolving into a beautiful taper with enhanced features and multiple stems.

They have wonderful shape and form and are easy to care for. When pruning please allow 1-2cm for die back. A lovely outdoor bonsai.
