This bonsai has immense character in the flaky bark and exposed roots. The proportions of the bonsai are exemplary. The trunk has a most exquisite taper and the leaves are naturally small. The new leaves emerge a lime green and fade to a deeper forest green over time. In spring and autumn you will sometimes see leaves with a red blush hue to them.
The strong twisty trunk leads up to the wonderfully shaped foliage that allows the light to flow between the branches.
The amazing branch placement has created a captivating canopy of fresh green foliage.
Comes potted in a glazed deep blue ceramic bonsai pot which really enhances the green of the leaves and gives this bonsai an extremely tasteful finish.
