This 6-year-old Serissa Bonsai, often called the Tree of a Thousand Stars, offers refined structure and delicate flowering. We train the tree in a classic broom style, where branches spread evenly from the trunk to form a balanced canopy. This shape creates the look of a mature tree in miniature. We pot it in a glazed ceramic bonsai pot and include a dark-coloured drip tray to keep watering clean and practical.

The Serissa – Fine Foliage and Star-Like Summer Flowers

The Serissa foetida, also known as Snowrose, produces small pointed leaves that form a dense, tidy canopy. During the warmer months, it develops delicate white star-shaped flowers across the branches. These tiny blooms give the tree its “Tree of a Thousand Stars” name and add beautiful seasonal interest.
