Holly: Hi, I’m Holly from Bonsai Direct and this is my dad.
Lloyd: Hello, I’m Lloyd from Bonsai Direct and this is my daughter, Holly.
Holly: Not to state the obvious. Okay, so what we’ve done is we’ve found two really lovely bonsai.
Lloyd: They are lovely. Yes, from their growing area.
Holly: Yep,
Lloyd: Yep.
Holly: And we thought what we’d do is get them repotted. A bit of styling, pruning, just a bit of tidying up.
Lloyd: Yeah, it was quite a lot of work to do. I mean, they’re lovely now, but there’s a lot of just cleaning up, getting the roots sorted, maybe positioning them a little bit different in the new pot.
Holly: We’ve been growing these for quite a long time. How long do you think?
Lloyd: I actually can’t remember how long we’ve had these now.
Holly: A long time.
Lloyd: Definitely time to get stuck in and
Holly: Do a lot more work on them
Lloyd: “Yeah, I love the roots on this one.”
Holly: This Ficus here has got some really good roots down here.
Lloyd: It’s got some a nice aerial roots. Yeah. And I love the bark on this one. On the.
Holly: Yeah. The trunk here is lovely. Yeah.
Lloyd: Look at that.
Holly: This is our flowering tea tree. So through the summer, you will see lots of little white flowers.
Lloyd: It’s lovely, isn’t it?
Holly: Yeah
Lloyd: Yeah.
Holly: So which bonsai did you want to do?
Lloyd: I really don’t mind. Which one would you like to do?
Holly: Well, I know whichever one I say I want to do, you all want to do the same one, so.
Lloyd: Okay. So which one do you want to do?
Holly: Okay, I want to do that one.
Lloyd: Well, why don’t why don’t you do this one and I’ll do that one.
Holly: Let’s just go with that, okay. Yeah.
Lloyd: We’ll do that then. Yeah. So which one am I? I’m doing this one.
Holly: Yep.
Lloyd: Okay.
Holly: And I’ll do that one.
Lloyd: All right. So let’s go.
