This is a young starter bonsai which is perfect to grow on and develop. the stems are pliable to respond well to styling by pruning and wiring techniques.
This is a hard species of bonsai and will thrive outdoors (please protect from frosts). It would be happy in an unheated conservatory or cool room in the house. It is not a fan of central heating so bear this in mind when choosing where to position it. Place near a window but away from direct sun in mid summer. Keep the soil slightly damp to the touch. We also recommend feeding your bonsai weekly with Bonsai Direct fertiliser to aid growth and strength.
