We grow varieties of bonsai that grow well in the UK. The trees in this category are suitable for growing in your home or office. We have carefully selected species which grow well and are evergreen. Therefore, your bonsai will have all year round colour and interest. Their main growth period is spring and summer, so you will find that the bonsai are more lush during these times. Many of them flower and fruit.
We appreciate how important delivery options are when it comes to delivery of your bonsai tree order. Therefore we offer FREE next working day delivery to most of the UK. This includes all destinations within England, Wales and Glasgow and Edinburgh postcodes of Southern Scotland.
You can choose the delivery date on the calendar at the checkout and we shall dispatch your order accordingly.
We also offer delivery on weekends; on both Saturdays and Sundays for a small surcharge of £8.99. Premium morning delivery also cost £8.99.
For the Scottish Highlands, Island and Northern Ireland delivery takes a minimum of 2 working days and costs £12.99. Again, you may select your delivery date.
Bespoke Packaging for Secure Delivery
Our bonsai tree range are delivered in bespoke packaging. This has been carefully designed so that the bonsai are uniquely packaged. This is to protect them from damage whilst in transit. Furthermore, we water our bonsai well prior to dispatch to ensure that they are fine in transit for at least a week. Rest assured delivery is usually extremely quick (next working day) but we prefer to be cautious.

The different varieties offer a wide range of characteristics, such as flowering, fruiting, enjoying warmer rooms, cooler rooms or even darker rooms.
Indoor bonsai, when kept indoors, will remain evergreen and continue to grow throughout the year – albeit more slowly during autumn & winter months. Thus, the seasons bring changes of colours and other variations such a flowering.

Indoor Bonsai Positioning
It is best to place your indoor bonsai on a humidity or drip tray. This will catch the water draining through the holes in the bottom of the bonsai pot. The water will then evaporate and will create some humidity around your bonsai, especially when the central heating is on during winter months. Bonsai trees loves this added humidity and respond well by growing faster. You can enhance this further during winter months by misting the leaves on a daily basis with water using a mister/sprayer. Please take care that the tray does not overflow onto your furniture and make sure that your bonsai does not sit in the water. If bonsai trees sit in water this can rot the roots and the bonsai can become weak.
Good daylight is essential to the health of an indoor bonsai tree. During winter place your bonsai in the brightest place possible, trying to avoid hot objects like radiators and televisions. In summer time beware of hot south facing windows, a little sunlight morning or evening is beneficial, but too much and your bonsai could over heat. Basically, your bonsai needs a position with good daylight but out of direct sunlight.
Some indoor bonsai varieties are a little more fussy than others. Chinese Elms, Chinese Sweet Plum, Ficus and Jade tree will all tolerate temperature fluctuations. The flowering species such as the Fukien Tea Bonsai and Tree of a Thousand Stars/Snowrose prefer an even temperature with minimal temperature fluctuations. These two species like a warm position away from draughts, so please position with this in mind.
