This is a spectacular fruiting Sageretia Theezans bonsai with fabulous foliage and interesting trunk design.
This bonsai has a twisty trunk, with accentuated curves and clean lines, as well as gnarly features along the bark and exposed roots.
The character trunk leads up to a captivating foliage canopy of perfectly proportioned leaves.
As the Sweet Plum matures it produces small purple fruits and the new foliage is flecked with shades of red/tan – they have started to show!
Comes potted in a soft cream banded pot, with matching drip tray. The colouring of the pot highlights the green leaves.
Perfect bonsai for beginners. Highly recommended with immense artistic appeal.

The Chinese Sweet Plum (Sageretia theezans) is a pretty indoor bonsai which has great character at an early age due to the flaky bark revealing tones of red/tan. The stunning foliage has hints of rusty red turning to glossy green. Small white flowers give rise to tiny plum-shaped purple fruits. A really pretty bonsai and great for beginners. A very artistic bonsai variety and highly recommended by the experts.
