Pruning accessories such as long handled bonsai scissors and bonsai branch cutters are essential to keep your new bonsai tree in shape. We use the small pruning scissors for gentle leaf tipping and for reaching deep into larger canopies we use the long-handled pruning scissors. For root-pruning, we recommend the heavy-duty shears.
