Pruning accessories such as long handled bonsai scissors and bonsai branch cutters are essential to keep your new bonsai tree in shape. You can really appreciate the structure of the tree and its artistic form and elegant shape. Should you need assistance with pruning, please take a look at my pruning videos.

We use the small pruning scissors for gentle leaf tipping and for reaching deep into larger canopies we use the long-handled pruning scissors. For root-pruning, we recommend the heavy-duty shears.

If you are re-styling then you will need concave branch cutters and knob cutters too. Pruning is relaxing and enjoyable and is an essential part of growing well-defined bonsai and maintaining good proportions.
