This fantastic, beautifully twisting, Chinese Elm indoor bonsai tree, or Ulmus parvifolia, stands out with its impressive character. This easy care indoor bonsai features textured bark, well spaced branches, and expressive aged features along the trunk that makes this bonsai totally unique. The foliage canopy is neatly arranged with twiggy branches that wrap around the trunk, supporting lush leaves. This small yet powerful bonsai’s branches has excellent refinement!
Adorned with vibrant evergreen leaves, this bonsai has a truly beautiful trunk flow with defined shape with some incredible features along the textured bark. The tasteful blue pot (with matching drip tray) showcases this smaller sized bonsai impeccably. I love how the exposed roots add even more character to this incredible little bonsai!
The bark of the bonsai has a lovely naturally aged flaky appearance giving the bonsai an even more mature aesthetic.
Care Tips:
- Light: Place your Chinese Elm bonsai in a spot with plenty of natural light, but avoid direct sunlight.
- Watering: Keep the soil just damp at all times, do not allow the soil to dry out or be kept “wet”.
- Feeding: Make sure you feed your bonsai once a week with our bonsai fertiliser.
- Humidity: Use the drip tray to maintain humidity around the bonsai whilst spraying the leaves a few times a week.
- Pruning: Regularly trim back new growth to maintain its shape and encourage even growth throughout the canopy.
